Here at DiMase Architects, ourselves and our partners are still open for business during this pandemic. With Stage 4 restriction in place for Metropolitan Melbourne, all staff members are working from home and undertaking site visits responsibly. We have informed our builders to oblige to the new restrictions enforced on all construction sites and keeping their High Risk COVIDSafe plan up to date. Construction sites now only allow 5 people to work on site, with no more than one worker per four square metres of enclosed workspace.
DiMase Architects are continuing our documentation work from home, whilst keeping connected with our clients and suppliers through Zoom. Each staff member has received a re-usable face mask, proudly designed and hand-made by our very own Project Designer, Mahshid Karami. Each staff are required to wear the face masks when participating in site visits, and even indoors when social distancing is unavoidable.
Our gallery, SHOPFRONT-342 is still up and running by our office shopfront. We will continue monthly exhibitions throughout the year with hope that this will bring a spark of joy to the community.
We hope that our clients, builders and community are keeping safe during this time. Please refer to the Department of Health and Human services for the latest updates and advice in regards to COVID-19.
Together we will be able to help slow the spread of the virus, keep those most vulnerable safe and rebuild our community.
