Magic Hand Car Wash

A series of projects for Magic Hand Car Wash have allowed us to explore the potential in spaces such as disused service stations and shopping centre car parks. These drawings and images from recently completed projects in Springvale Road and Plenty Valley show details of the cafe fitouts, which consider practicality and OH+S issues alongside corporate aesthetic requirements.

All MHCW sites have achieved 5 star WaterSaver Ratings and use 100% recycled water. They also recycle water on site to use on car after car and filter all used water before it reaches the sewer.

  • How much water does this use? How does it recycle?

RESPONSE: MHCW has an extremely efficient filtration process that recycles water from car to car. The amount of fresh water (town water or rainwater where possible) required varies from site to site but is usually around 11 litres per car.
